I'm so sorry for your loss. I'm so glad you found each other for chapter 2.........at least she got to know what a family and love are supposed to be like.
We just lost our girl of 13 years 2 weeks ago, you're right, it's very hard getting used to them not being here. I still expect her to be laying on the area rug in the family room when I run the sweeper, my heart falls a little when she isn't.

I saw about Phoebe, ACooper, I'm so sorry. It really is hard coming home and not hearing her bark. I didn't even realize that I look for her behind the fence when I come home until I caught myself doing it yesterday. It feels really lonely, even with my other pets around, just because there's a piece missing.

I'm so sorry for your loss. What a sweet dog she was, huh. I can tell you gave her all the love she deserved after having come from such a bad home. For your love and care, she was very lucky. She will be in your hearts forever. RIP sweet Jenny. I'm so sorry.

I love hearing everyone say how beautiful she was. She always looked so regal to me, the way she sat all the way upright, so sturdy. It's been over a week now, and it's still weird.
I think though, that we are grateful that she went on her own and we didn't have to make a painful decision. It lessens the ache somewhat to know that she was ready, at least for me it does. |

I'm so sorry for your loss! Reading your story and seeing her pictures really hit home...I could tell she was so loved. There are no words to help ease the pain, i'm sure, but I hope you will treasure wonderful memories of her. Keeping you in my prayers.
