I have a question about heeling.
In the exercise where you are supposed to slow down for several steps, are points taken off if your dog begins to sit with each step? lol. Spy is so eager to sit thinking I am about to stop and I am not sure if it's something I need to fix.

Not sure about the venue but as a training exercise that just takes time for the dog to realize it's walking not stopping. At least with both of my boys.

I don't think so or if there is I don't think it's major, but I'd try and fix it if I were you. You also don't need to slow down a ton if you're already walking a nice brisk pace for "normal speed", there just has to be a visible change in the dog's pace.
