Leather collar help

So i have just received my first ever brown leather collar. I finally have a dog that can wear something other than black

I've used lexol in the past but that darkens leathers so any recommendations for a cleaner and conditioner that is not to expensive and won't darken the brown to much?

Also the leather is very oily on the inside of the collar. I am wondering if that is where it has just been conditioned or if that is something i need to clean off?
