I've been suffering from major horse withdrawal lately, so I want to see Chaz equines!
Name, breed, age, color, what they are used for, etc. Pics are a bonus too! Doesn't have to be a horse you own, any horse you work with will do...

This my filly Del, reg'd APHA (Paint), she is 3/4 Tb (sire Tb, dam appendix Paint or half paint/tb). Her reg'd name is LP Kiss My Sass, she will be 3 yrs old this month. Photo was taken when she was 18 months old. At this point, I am just doing ground work (no lunging) and spook proofing her. So far she has shown that she is calm, sensible and not worried about sheets of plastic and tarps being pulled over her, walking over them or balls being thrown at, over or under her etc. I will start her under saddle this spring and probably just trail ride her, I don't have any goals to hit the show ring anymore. I string tested her for height as a long yearling, results were 16.1 h, I expect she'll end up around 16 h give or take a bit.

I am sadly down to three.
Velvet 22 year old Andy/Arab cross. (I have had her since she was 2) She has done everything. She was my main school horse her whole life. She has successfully carted kids around in dressage, hunter, jumper, and field hunting. I have ridden her everywhere, including through the Taco Bell drive through in town. She has done one tv show, where she had to 'die'. Amusing vid with her where you can see her 'die' http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=dcP7xqqPIV8 on set ![]() doing the CNE (canadian national exhibition) ![]() In her youth going cross ![]() ![]() if you want more pics here is my 'horse' album. http://s221.photobucket.com/albums/d...ses/?start=all Cricket registered as Dash Valley she is a 14 year old registered tb, off the track with some pretty spectacular bloodlines for sport horse breeding. ![]() She is a very interesting beastie. She has been a brood mare pretty much constantly since she came off the track. I hope to breed her this year to a CSH stallion and next year to an Irish Draught (Steeped in Luck) ![]() And then we have Senn Senn is a 5 year old rescue TB. no papers. She was going for meat at the auction and I happened to be there with a trailer.. you know the story. She is the friendliest horse on the planet. Would rather snuggle and get scritches than eat her grain (or anything else for that matter) humans are her most fave thing ever. Not a mean or contrary bone in her body. Worst feet on a horse I have every owned, and some of the worst I have ever seen. Hopefully I can throw money at a farrier once I get a job and get her consitently sound. A sound day from a couple of summers ago with a friend up. One of the first times US ![]()

This is Neapolitano Maestina, or "Valor"
He is a 6 (7 next month) Lipizzan. I started him under saddle this winter, his final goal is some dressage work. He also works in hand quite a bit. He is also going grey. ![]() Val in the fog.

I've been missing horses badly lately. I went to horse camp every summer as a kid, and loved riding. Since my back surgery, I'm not supposed to anymore. I'm really enjoying this thread already.

Red, have you ever thought about driving? Its super fun and back friendly
I took some top notch diving lessons years ago. They were awesome and it wasn't as easy as it looks even with an extensive riding background.
