Too complicated for me! I just have a single bin for each colony. When I go to harvest a bin, I feed them all in one spot for a couple weeks then scoop out that section, empty out the rest of the bin into a bucket, and put the worms and their new substrate back into the bin. I feed the bucket for a week or two right on top to draw stray worms and move them into the bin too, and then we're done.
