My friends have totally posted pictures of their dogs staring at them while they're on the toilet on Facebook. You're weird for thinking it's weird, obviously

hmmm, next time I shall take a picture just for you, of his crazy face peeking around the door to check on me, just to make sure I haven't fallen in and drowned.

I brought Pan for a visit to my in-law's house the other day and of course she had to escort me to the washroom. They probably think I'm even more weird now.

With the amount of banging myself up and falling over I do, he probably feels its a valid concern, that I might accidentally drown in the loo somehow.

I do. I live with just my husband, and when he's asleep, who cares?
plus it lets me keep an ear on the dogs. And at least one of them keeps an eye on me.

My cat feels this way. He just...watches. He situates himself directly in front of me and stares.
I assume dogs and cats do this as payback for the fact that we can see them doing their business.
