New Distemper Strains - Real Threat or Scare Tactic?

The AVMA suggests it is a "scare tactic" or rather, the rapid spread of rumor by social networking and the fear-mongering media. Thought I'd share the article in case anyone heard anything about it and wanted to learn more.
