This is exactly what we did/are seeing with Sloan. I hope they hold true. I have a private with Daisy Peels next friday so hopefully she'll help us if we're not on the right path.

Adrianne, they've been fairly durable, though we did have some bobbles during two trials leading up to Z's AAD - she started leaping the contact - but they were corrected quickly by upping the rate of reinforcement with appropriately placed treats or toys. I think we revamped them in weekly classes in about 2 months iirc. Body language has also helped as well.

This past trial the RCs really seemed to click and she was speeding up and even crouching as she hit them (not creeping, just getting very low and she's not a BC lol), even with some lateral distance from me.

That sounds like it's working really well for you! It sounds like you've done well using bits and pieces of different methods.

Savvy has naturally strided the DW down contact at full speed just about every time he's done it in class recently (when he first started, he bounded the entire way...which was adorable). Running and not jumping. I'm very much leaning towards RCs with him, partially because I think he might kill himself dong 2o2o and partially because....well RCs are awesome!

I love all of your videos! Sekah, I REALLY want to teach Knox and Enzo the leg weaves, and Cohen has an incredible repertoire of tricks! She's adorable.

I've been very bad and haven't been good about working on Art's tricks, but I think you've got me motivated to get back to that handstand. Linds, you're going to have to tell me how it goes (or post a video!) when you get to the point of walking forward!

Nice!! Quinn is so freaking cute.

It's so neat watching all these videos! Sekah, yours was absolutely adorable. The music went really nicely with it, too. And mrose, Quinn did so great with all of those distractions! Very nice!
