Default Weird news story of the day

http://www.cbsnews.com/8301-501370_1...-living-souls/

I wonder what exactly the dog's problem was. I will also be interested to know how this person "knows" the dog was bred from defective stock - resulting in a defective puppy.

Perhaps she was told the disorder was genetic.

Sorry, but she lost any support I'd feel for her when I read the bolded part:
"...When Elena Zakharova took home her 2-month-old female Brussels Griffon from the Raising Rover pet store in Manhattan, she was excited about the new addition to her family..."

Do I feel sorry for the dog? Of course. But not for her.

Yup. You buy from a pet store, you lose any right to whine. Take your lumps, take care of your dog.

exactly my opinion. And this is coming from some one with a pet store dog. I didnt do reaserch, I didnt think about consequences from buying from such a place. Id never whine if Blaze has a issue resulting from poor breeding. Ill feel horrile for him. but Im not going to court over this. This woman is just sue happy. if she did some reaserch she would have known about proper breeding. And so would have I, lucky now I know, and hopefully she does too
