I've totally been itching to get another corn snake. I know my hubby won't be too happy about it since he isn't fond of my love for snakes, but better to ask for forgiveness right? Lol.
I currently own a 3 year old female snow corn, but I think I'd like to try a baby this time around. I'd love a bloodred one so I'm trying to find a good breeder to possibly purchase a baby from. I'd prefer to find one in driving range since snake shipping costs can be pretty high to my knowledge. Anyone know of any good corn breeders in VA or MD? I'm located in Northern VA/DC area |

I'd just mail order what you want from one of the breeders in the south. I got mine years ago from south mountain reptiles and he sent me a fantastic healthy little buggar.

You can check the ACR (American Cornsnake Registry).
http://herpregistry.com/acr/Breeders.php Oooo! They also have a map feature! http://herpregistry.com/acr/map.php Another place to to definitely check is the Fauna Classifieds Board of Inquiry. You can search for various breeders for references and reviews. There have been some recent fraudulent activity in the cornsnake world recently (people selling sick babies, etc.), so it is always best to check and DOUBLE CHECK where you get your animals from. http://www.faunaclassifieds.com/foru...splay.php?f=13 I think I know a few people in MD... though I can't remember who now, or if they are even active breeders currently. Let me look into that for you and I'll comment again when I find out.
