Oh if only...
...I was able to adopt another dog at this point.
I would totally get this guy... http://www.petfinder.com/petdetail/2...1?photo_view=3 He is listed as a corgi mix...but I think I might also see some pei in that muzzle  Or am I crazy?

Shar pei X basset hounds are a pretty popular (and terrifying...they all look like their legs are growing in some bizarre direction) new designer breed. I'd be a lot that he's one of those.

A lot of people see the short legs and assume the dog must be Corgi, Basset or Doxie mix. But a lot of breeds carry short legs/dwarfism. He looks like a Shar Pei/Beagle mix to me. Googled images and sure enough:
