I love how you capture his little smirk.

Also, there is no such thing as a "mini yorkie". They're all pretty "mini"!. Some people advertise "teacup yorkies" which are smaller than average, but breeding for those qualities causes serious health risk to the dogs, and nearly all teacup yorkies have health problems of some kind, provided the mother can even deliver the pups safely.

Thought that would be the deal,I saw this pair the other day and they were very small! They were also 13 years old...so they must have just been normal? They were basically Coco's size...don't know if that's their normal size or not...

I agree with Milo'sMommy. There isnt a mini, tecup, toy....etc in the breed standard. AKC Breed standard for a yorkie calls for 7lb
American Kennel Club - Yorkshire Terrier

Ethical / reputable breeder try to breed within that size. However, you can find a smaller than 7lb and a bigger than 7lb that pop up in a litter of a reputable breeder / just like in any other breed of dog (they are still called yorkies - without the terms that BYB or puppy mills use to sell more). That said, i would much rather dont go looking for super tiny, especially when they are bred by BYB ... Health risk is higher

Love the drawings!

The yorkie that lives next to us is now about 9 months old and 15 lbs. He's not fat. He wasn't supposed to get that big so surprise!
