Not to join the "your fault" bandwagon, but come on, you don't know a home address? Until further notice the dog is your responsibility.
I know you said you wanted out of dogs a while ago and offered half of your pack for rehoming and you're returning this puppy but then I saw you on a waiting list for an apbt puppy? I understand you've been going through some life changes so I would hope you would be the first to understand if the breeder is in fact having some life crisis themselves. I'm not trying to run you into the ground but with everything that has and is happening with your dogs I think you owe it to this puppy you purchased to stick with it at least until the breeder can take back what should never have been sold. I'm sure it's hard, it's a fila, and everyone probably warned you about them before you got one, they're really not the breed for everyone. Have you considered starting to contact other Fila breeders and dog show patrons that would know this breeder? You met the breeder at a show so it may help.

I keep loose touch with breeders. She's normally got a good rep so I'd try contacting her via the phone and snail mail.
I'd figured it was probably the Fila pup. They can be daunting, especially when you're more familiar with dogs that are geared toward taking direction and training. The adolescent stage can be . . . trying  They're a very self-directed breed and aren't very subject to bribery, whether it's in the form of food, play or praise. Buffy and Kharma both were a trip when they were teengirls.

Did I miss something where it was said that is was the Fila pup? I mean, I'm assuming it is, but I didn't see that anywhere on this thread.

She has more pups? If so then, "whoops!" I'd be happy to find address for other breeders as well if need be, anything to help breeders reunite with astranged pups.
