She is actually the only dog that I've seen so far that even looks anything like a Dutch Shepherd mix, but I doubt it for the obvious reasons :P In fact, a short bit a ago, my rescue had three different Dutch Shepherd mixes. Just because they were brindle.

Cricket is adorable, and I have no clue what she is :P

Oops just noticed this. She's not really distrusting although sometimes when she meets a new stranger she can be a bit more aloof and bark at them or back away from them. She tends to come around from it pretty quickly though. Quick to startle depends on the situation. With something she isn't familiar with she is very quick to startle, other things like the vacuum, etc she doesn't care about at all. She's very aware of stuff. If she hears the slightest sound her attention is perked and it can sometimes be hard to get her focus on something else. As far as easy to re-focus.maintain focus... it depends on the day lol. She's in her adolescent phase so some days she's really good at staying focused and other days she gets way too distracted by anything else going on around her. She's biddable for the most part, but unlike Bamm who is willing to please just for the joy of pleasing, Cricket usually has to have something to motivate her. She's very much a "what's in it for me?" dog.
