Thank you all a lot.
It was really weird cleaning the cage and only having four faces look out at me but on the flip side they've been able to spend all day and part of the night out the last couple days because I didn't have to worry at all about the dogs being attacked by Spike, or one of them being too rough with Phil. I could sit in my room without worrying about Spike coming up and latching on. It is in a way relieving and though I really really miss them it's more of a quiet kind of way and I'm happy in a twisted way

Not twisted at all. It was their time, and now things have gotten quite a bit more peaceful. RIP, both of you.

No, not twisted. Sad, but a relief that they are no longer in pain and the other are able to be more free. Very normal feeling, imo.
