My girls stools were looking absolutely horrible ( and there was no new change in diet or treats). They were kinda bubbly and light brown (and I looked at a ferret poop chart online). I decided it was time to see the vet. The vet found no parasites, no infections or intestinal diseases. She said its the food, the girls just are not doing good on it. I feed them 8-1 Ultimate, I read it was a good food for them! I cant find anything better to feed them that I dont have to order online (Like Evo ferret), do you think Evo kitten food would be a good choice? What other cat foods are a good choice? And before anyone suggests raw, I have already tried to give then raw chicken and they will NOT eat it! They wont eat any kind of moist treat, or even the canned 8-1 I got, they just ignore it, they prefer kibble!

EVO cat is perfectly fine to give to ferrets. I fully suggest grain-free foods. Zupreem has a new grain-free line now too, and it is sold at petsmart. Any of the high quality cat foods are fine, but again, I do suggest keeping it grain-free. Grains do absolutely nothing for ferrets, and their poops get so much better on grain-free, cause the grains are not coming right back out. I believe somebody else on here feeds their ferrets TOTW.

Innova Evo Feline is the same thing as the ferret version. That's what I feed my fuzzbutts and they do just fine on it. I'm lucky enough to have a local store that carries it so I don't have to order online.

I have a few stores that sell Evo cat and dog... Just not ferret (since I live in California).

EVO cat is the exact same formula as ferret
it's what I fed before I switched them to raw

Yup, I feed TOTW cat food to my two. I switched off of Blue Buffalo Wilderness (cat version) for price reasons. They did fabulous on the Wilderness and are doing just as great on the TOTW (and I swear their poops are smaller and don't stink as much).
The TOTW cat food is 99.9% identical to the Zupreem grain free, and it is half as expensive. Before I fed Wilderness and TOTW, they were on just regular Zupreem. They did fine on that, but when I switched over to Wilderness they preferred it so much more than Zupreem. And yes, EVO cat food is fine. If I didn't need convience and cheap, I'd have switched to that instead of Wilderness (which was more convient) and then TOTW (which was more convient and cheap).
