What if you could only...
... Choose 5 things to train your dog to do and nothing more (doesn't include housetraining).
What would your most important top 5 things be and why? Mine would be: Stay - To lessen the likely-hood of bolting from doors. Stop - In case they got out or away from me i want them to be able to stop when i say so. Come - To come back to me when i call if they ever got loose. Down - This is the safety position for izzie that i'm partial to, not sure why. Drop It - In case they pick up something they shouldn't have.

- Come: lol its kinda necessary
- Stay: For pictures - Heel: its useful at airports when we are walking close - Drop it: for when he tries to eat something - SHH!: for when he barks

Come: it will save the dogs life in an emergency
Heel: I like my arms in socket Stay: its nice to keep him in one place Settle: becuase he needs to go lay down and leave me alone for a while Stop 'em: because what good is a protection dog that will not bite on command?

Mow the lawn
Do laundry Wash dishes Do my job for me And cook Well, you said 5 things . . . you didn't specify that they had to be things my dog could actually learn.  Oh, and I think the reason why is obvious. My dog would be mentally and physically worn out every day and I would be living the life of Riley.
