Here is the website for one of our
Lifesavers Spay & Neuter Service

They offer a lot. Rabies shot is free along with the alter. I usually use it for ferals or stray cats so that works for me!

And here is everything they do offer
Amherst, Wed Mar 24th - $70.00 : Lifesavers Spay & Neuter Service, Be a Lifesaver, Spay or Neuter your pet

They do offer the pre surgical blood work. Never done it but it is an option.
They also do shots cheap and offer micro chipping, and some things like heart worm tests.

Including with the alter cost is a pain shot.

So I guess compared to some others we are lucky to have this here

The majority if not all of my pets have been done at low cost speuter clinics with no problems whatsoever.

Where did you find one in MN?!

I have a friend whose kitten went into heat and had kittens before he got her fixed. I've been trying to find options for him that are affordable, and haven't been able to!

Yes Tankstar. It had been where I'd been thinking of. Not sure I'm willing to bother to wait though. 12-16 weeks to return your phone call to book an appointment some months in the future is a turn off. The booking for months ahead because they are busy I do get. The 12-16 weeks to return your call I'm not so okay with.

Cider was 240 to spay some years ago. The going rate for a neuter seems to be 350 or more now with no extras. No antibiotics, no blood screenings. Heck for Cider it wasn't offered either.

It is so booked up though because there are no other options that aren't hundreds minimum.. and It's only been open a year or so.. so I assume they are backlogged with people who didn't fix their animals before. Although they have a cut off age of 5 years old.. so I guess it could be more backlogged than it is..

Ditto. Got all three done for $60 TOTAL. They were fine the next day, without the meds...and Valentino was neutered young and he's fine. You don't even see the scars, they did a good job.

I live in Duluth Minnesota. There is one located here on Superior Street. I would be happy to pm you more info if you want. I also know of one up on the Iron Range that does it for 50$ flat fee if your friend is not near the Duluth area.
