Me too, I only recently (within the past few months) found out that there are groomers that will do that to keep the pets under control! Outrageous and dangerous.

I still think that if people can feel phantom limbs there's no reason that pets can't.

Dobeluv, my kitchen knife comment was in reference to the link you provided. They mentioned that some people do that. I didn't mean to imply that that had happened to any of your pets.

it's sad. I read in some websites where they teach you how to dock your dogs tail. I read some where they just use scissors to dock their tails and then you put some kind of medication to stop the bleeding then you wrap their little tail with a gauze. And it suppose to heal within a week.
