Nickname/Preferred name: Boston works fine.

Occupation: Analyst at an environmental testing company

Age: 30

about your dog(s): Meg, the most perfect creature to walk the earth. 5 year old Mountain Cur.

Interests: My dog, my horse, agility, dressage, photography, obsessions with TV shows.

Favorite music: A mix. Country. Musical theater. Some adult alternative/soft rock/piano rock stuff. Definitely not the "black metal" that is playing in the lab all day.

Favorite book: Too many to pick one. Favorite as in "amazing book, changed my life, more notes and highlighter than a five year old text book": The Plague, Albert Camus. Favorite as in "wonderful story, can pick it up twice a year, read it in a long sitting, and still be affected": Where the Red Fern Grows. Current "these books are more fun than anything I've read in a long time" favorite: The Dresden Files, Jim Butcher.

Favorite quote: Too many to chose from. Since I just read it again, I'll go with a Dresden quote: Paranoid? Probably. But just because you're paranoid doesn't mean that there isn't an invisible demon about to eat your face.

PICTURE OF YOU

Older, but I'm usually behind the camera. I only step in front for special occasions. This was the last time I ever got to visit the real Boston Banker, my true heart horse (sorry Tristan).

Nickname/Preferred name: I realize my username is a bit long, so you can call me whatever you like. Justa, Luck, Lucky, whatever.

Occupation: High-school student. I also work part-time at a holistic pet food store, which I love!

Age: 17

about your dog(s): No dogs at the moment. I can't have any where I'm living. I do, however, have a cat that I love dearly and two slightly annoying yet highly entertaining birds.

Interests: Volunteering with my animal rescue, reading, watching movies, hanging out with friends. You know. The usual. I used to swim and cross-stitch a lot, but I don't have much time anymore.

Favorite music: Top 40 and Country.

Favorite book: That changes fairly often. Last two I read that I really enjoyed were The Handmaid's Tale and Oryx and Crake, both by Margaret Atwood.

Favorite quote: "If you can't do something right, at least do something smart." -Jayne, Firefly.

This one's pretty good, too:

"Grant me the serenity to accept the things I cannot change, the courage to change the things I cannot accept, and the wisdom to hide the bodies of those people I had to kill today because they pissed me off and also, help me to be careful of the toes I step on today, as they may be connected to the ass that I may have to kiss tomorrow."

PICTURE OF YOU: Yeah. I don't really do pictures of me. If we ever end up being Facebook friends, you can see them on there.
