The SO and I went to the Royal Alberta Museuem today and I took some pictures while we were there. So here they are. The animals are not real. They are stuffed. And the Native Americans are not real nor are they stuffed. Just making that clear. But the whole museuem set up was beautifuly done.

Now that is a gorgeous bridle!
Ha ha, at first I was like "Aww! cignets! How cute." And then I read the description. Grammy, oftentimes the animals in these exhibits are donated animals that passed from natural causes. I know the natural history museum at the UW has a pygmy owl on display that my boss accidentally hit with his car.

Yah the babies are a little disturbing, but Romy is right they were mostly donated and died from natural deaths. And these exibits are so old. Not 100% how old but they were there when my mom was around 11 (I think) and she is now 50.
