its hard to find the perfect dog!
looks like a sight hound. energy of a terrier or herder, BUT NOT as reactive and barky LOL sometimes I can rough house with. A dog that doesnt mind a bit of a noisy household, etc Maybe when the time comes we can find a neat looking mix on petfinder!

Lurcher here is basically anything crossed with a greyhound. So there's no definitive "type". I have seen aaalll kinds of 'lurchers'.

Have you considered a Portuguese Podengo??? I think they my fit what you want and they have 3 distinct sizes to choose from, pequeno (small), medio (mudieum) and grande (large). I think the medio would suit you well and I can forward you to someone who would be able to help you out for sure! They are a sighthound and aren't too common yet but there is a good population of medios going on in the US. Same with pequenos but the Grandes are very hard to come across.
