But seriously, can I just brag on my puppy a minute?

I love this dog, we're really starting to come to an understanding of each other. Not that I didn't adore her before, but in the past few weeks I feel like she's matured SO much and our bond has really strengthened. She's suddenly become a very affectionate little dog, which she never was before. She actually cuddles now! And she's gained an attention span. Now she is very good with her commands, including stay (which was a doozy to teach her). I can put her in a stay and walk all around the house and she won't move. She thinks its a great game. And she's just still so much trouble and so spunky and fun. She managed to chase off the goose today and was feeling mighty proud of herself lol. I <3 my puppy. She's such a neat dog to have around.

The only problem we're having is that last week we were at the park and a lab ran up to us while my two were on a leash and flipped Mia completely over. She wasn't hurt but now she's afraid of big dogs running up to her. Really set back her socialization, but I guess we'll move on. Hopefully she stops being afraid of large dogs.

I know how you feel, I was having a hard time connecting with Chloe and then something clicked overnight and we just became really bonded.

Hopefully the socialization works out! She probably just needs a few good encounters and all will be well again.

7 months? She's hasn't mellowed at ALL but she is learning that control isn't such a bad thing. She stays but the moment I release her its full force into my legs lol. She is a good girl though.

It's been very weird. I've always liked her a lot but we really did just click suddenly.

I'm still waiting for that special click to happen with Lincoln I know he likes me, and misses me greatly, but he's just not all cuddly like everyone else.
