Default Go To Ground...
So since Dekka brought up the SuperEarth event in another thread, I've been very interested...

I've been reading a lot about GTG and SuperEarth the past few days... and well... IT SOUNDS REALLY FUN!! I REALLLLLLLYYYYYY want to try it!

I was thinking about stopping by HomeDepot this weekend to pick up some PVC pipes to make practice agility equipment out of... but I think I may be picking up some plywood too...

Think I can get a corgi to rat hunt in above ground wooden tunnels?

There is a Trial comming up in a few weeks down in PA... it's about a 5 hour drive from me... I'm seriously considering making the trip to watch the dogs!

Yes...as long as he can fit in the tunnels.

They can be great mousers. I see no reason why they wouldn't hunt rats.

.... knowing my dog, the rat would "squeek" at him and he'd run behind me trying to hide from it.

My collies are great ratters ... but underground, we'd have a very big problem! lol

I know of a BC who fits down those 9 inch tunnels....

If you come visit Ont your corgi can compete. NAMBR offers all breed (assuming they fit) earth dog trials now. Of course you would need to visit when there is a trial.
