Default I am so disgusted....

I was all set to brag on my boy tonight. He has been so sweet and loving even though he has not been able to be outside really today because it has been pouring down rain here. He has a japanese gazebo he runs to use the bathroom under and then runs in. I gave him a bone and he has been content and chewing on it (and chewing on it ON ME) all night. I just came up to brush my teeth and he came up too. My cat has a child gate on her room where her food and her litter box is. I have had to leave it cracked open because she hurt her paw/arm (I posted this in another post) so she can get through. While I was brushing my teeth I heard Brady run downstairs. I heard my husband screaming "no Brady no". Well, Brady had pulled himself a "tasty" morsel from kitty's litter box while I was not looking, and ate it in one big gulp. Hubby said it was no little piece either. I am so disgusted. The mouse last night was one thing, but going into the kitty's litter box really grossed me out. YUCK!

Dogs just think the litter box is their own personal box of candy. They don't understand why no one wants to "share" with them, but seem to just shrug that off with the attitude of "oh well, more for me!"

Yep, it's disgusting all right. I'm sitting here grimacing just thinking about it; I've seen it too many times. Ugh!

So, what was the deal with the mouse? Is Brady becoming a mouser?

One of Liz's cats brought one to the back doorstep when Brady went over there to play the other night. Liz said Jenny always goes crazy if they are inside and one of the cats brings one to the doorstep, Jenny loves to torture the mice. Brady and Jenny were outside when Isabella brought it up and Isabella came in and left the half dead mouse outside on the doorstep. Brady and Jenny took turns running around chasing each other with it in their mouths. One would kind of toss it around and if it fell on the ground the other would run in and grab it and run around with it and then start tossing it and then the other would get it. I know it is all part of being a dog, but I was still a little grossed out by it. I told him to keep his nasty rodent mouth away from me that night. No doggie kisses that night, yuck! It was not really that gross when you could not see it but to see one of those dogs standing there and the mouse tail sticking out of their mouth, ick!

Oh, ROFL! As you can guess, my two girls play ratball . . . Bimmer's above it all. If it's a rat, he just kills it and leaves it where I will see it. He doesn't eat rats. Such a gentleman . . .

He always is the perfect gentleman. Now do you think we can consider those two big girls of yours "perfect ladies"?

HA! Surely you jest! Why do you think I refer to them as My Monsters? Kharma is a conniving, manipulative, flirtatious, obsessive, Shakespearean little schemer and Shiva is best characterized as a Force of Nature with preternatural intelligence and a passive/aggressive streak.

I have a theory that Filas are not actually dogs: they are cats in baggy dog costumes.
