Kinda eerie
It's a little bit scary when Nyx is on the front porch ignoring Tyr and standing on her hind legs looking/smelling into the distance ~ doing her very talented meerkat impersonation ~ and then, when encouraged to go look for whatever it is, she proceeds to shove her head into the tree that is immediately outside the front door.
And this is about 30 minutes after a strange loud noise startled us all and had the dogs on alert.  I dunno what was in that tree, but it better not be trying to get inside the house.
