post-neuter complications

One of mine was neutered at 13 yrs with no problems . Ollie came done , so have no clue , Elin' Hunter was done a few days before being adopted and swelled up like mad ! No complications though .

Scirocco was 3 and Greyhounds are more prone to complications from any surgery and he did fine. We did greyhounds both male adn female at all ages. One thing we did do with all of them was give Rymidal but that could be because of the rescue or breed. He also has nothing really there anymore and he was WELL endowded.

Ozzy was neutered around a year and a half. He had some minor bruising, nothing major. The hardest part was keeping him quiet and from licking it.

I had a foster done at 2 and he also had an undescended testicle. He came through fine. I did give him some pain meds after though. Oz didn't get any.
