Question Teething question...

Our new pup, Sunny, a female 4month old, Boxer/Pointer mix, is now starting to loose her premolars and is officially teething (she already lost her insisors, but we didn't have her for that). When she starts to chew, she starts to hurt and whine. I was wondering if there are any puppy teething toys, like their are human teething toys. I thought about freezing a Kong, but they only sell sizes for large dogs in my town, not 25 lb pups. I am also thinking about freezing those rubber small breed bones. Any ideas???

I was told to freeze a carrot. My pup kinda liked that. Doesn't anymore though now that he's a big boy. I'm sure other vegetables would work too

Yeah...she is a strange dog...she is the only dog I have owned that "plays" with her food. She throws it in the air and chases it. My parents like to say she is part cat...maybe there is some Basenji in there

Anyway, there was a point to that part. I gave her a carrot last night and she played with is, slowly eating it. I'll try it, Thanks!

I've seen some teething bones that are made to be frozen in the pet supply store.

I've had a few that whined. Kharma whined. Bimmer gnawed and growled. Teething puppies are a lot like teething babies. They can have all sorts of symptoms, even to diarrhea and vomitting in some extreme cases.

Maddie lost hers without me even knowing. The only reason I know she lost one is because I saw she was chewing on something and I hadn't gave her anything so I told her to spit it out!
Carly whined, growled, and got diarrhea. :P
