Time to break out the wormer again
Just got back from my parents house. I let Strider out to potty, and when he didn't come after calling him I went to look.
Well, he found a rat nest in the woodshed. So he's eaten for tonight, the shed is ratless, and my dad is very, very happy with him. I guess he had to prove he's still a real borzoi after that herding incident yesterday.

If they're barn rats it's not too nasty. Barn rats are some of the notoriously best fed animals ever. Their diet is almost completely grain. Way to go, Strider! Kharma will eat barn rats too.

rats are actually some of the best meat ANYONE can get, (as long as its clean (ie no poisons)) they have a good bone to meat ration, they taste a little like chicken when cooked, and there generally very picky about their food, being scavengers and good at it, they can be.
in terms of survival rats are usually a great choice if you can catch one. good descision on the wormer though
