We have a new Persian family member. Saw that there wre two persians at our animal control on stray hold. Went in on their adoption day and met a very cute little tabby. She's very wee..much smaller than my Abner. Only 6 and a half lbs. She went in to be spayed, but when they got in there the poor dear was already spayed. (we checked and could find nothing even vaguely resembling a scar) She's about 4 or 5. Has an ear infection, so is on meds for that, but otherwise seems healthy. She boarded at work for two days until we could be home on the weekend.
Currently she's sitting in the closet, gazing at Abner. The other cats haven't noticed her yet. here's a badly lit pic, taken by cell phone, in a sad little vet cage. she's not as dour as she looks

She's doing very well. Coming out of her shell more daily. She's quite the talkative little chick when it is dinnertime
She's doing well on her grain free food (rather than the 9 lives she was eating at the shelter) and looks forward to dinnertime. She'd had a suture reaction to her internal sutures, but it's almost back to normal now. ![]() And she's really not crabby....it's just her face
