You mean like how I had to bite my tongue when a lady in my puppy class was bragging about how her Rottie puppy was expected to be about 140 lbs when full grown? And they just can't figure out why he's limping so much at such a young age?

I know stuff. But I agree with Dizzy - there's something that that person knows that I don't know, and I would hope they wouldn't bite my head off about it or talk to me about it in a condescending manner.

That being said - I've learned alot assisting with public training classes at my club. People and their lack of knowledge about a LIFE they are caring for doesn't surprise me anymore. I help as much as I can, and I hope they take my advice.

That is so true Carrie.. I look back and cringe and what I thought, and wonder what I will cringe about in the future.

I do wish for ignorance, sometimes... it is bliss, after all!

BUT, then I think about how I was once ignorant, and my dogs (or... family dogs) didn't live as happy/full/healthy/well-adjusted lives as they could have. So, in the end, it's worth the frustration. It's worth feeling flustered and disgusted when people at work talk about how Science Diet is the end all be all and how gentle leaders and punishment is required to train a dog, every dog, any dog. Unfortunately, I can't really say much at work but I do attempt to be as nice as possible while being nosey and giving advice to people that I know or meet outside of work. I mean, if some one hadn't said something to me, maybe I would be one of those oblivious people?
