What, if anything do all of you with long haired dogs use when you brush? I have heard of damaging the coat if they are brushed while dry. This morning I orderd a bottle of Chris Christensen's Ice on Ice. Have any of you ever used it? I am going to mist Aussie, our Australian Shepherds coat before brushing. What are some other good ones?

I use Show Shein....you can get it at any farm supply and it's actually for horses. It helps to de-tangle and make the coat shiny.
You can also use it on short coated breeds like labs after brushing them to help 'set' the coat

I've used show shine when I was showing horses. I use Cowboy Magic detangler/shine on both the horses I have now, and on myself. I considerd it for Aussie as well. I got the Ice on Ice in I orderd, and so far I really like it a lot. I'm going to continue with it for now.
