Milton acting like Penny is in season?

My mom's dog did something similar. She came in season back in Feb/March and while my mom was with me in April my grandma said that my mom's bitch came in season...and allowed one of the other dogs to actually breed her. (This was in April)

Strange...so far, no pups that they are aware of. It wasn't her first season either but she's never had a litter.

Have her checked for a urinary tract infection, perhaps?

Also, I believe someone on another board had a dog who developed ovarian cysts and went into season every few months. But since Penny has never had an issue before, I wouldn't think that would be it.
