Great pics, I love it when dogs roll around in the grass like that...it just looks like they have sooo much fun

He does get quite proud.

The comparison is actually because he has stopped many old timers in their tracks and they comment on how he looks like a corgi from the 30's ~ the picture is of a corgi from the 30's (or 40's).

This would be what they look like now. Note the much shorter and thicker leg and more coat. The head shape is a bit different also.

And yes, he does love to roll. The smellier the better.

I really like Ares! The doe-eyed teddybear look of the show corgis is cute, but Ares is a really sturdy, athletic looking boy.
