Chart Polski
Can anyone tell me more about this breed? I've seen them around the internet and saw one here as well last year. They're very striking dogs I was just wondering if anyone had any personal info to share.

ive heard of them...
never met/seen one though outside of the ring, eevn then it was a special event and i didnt get to meet him, he was a stunning looking dog though!

It clicked when I heard that their other name is Polish Greyhound. The local greyhound rescue has two. They told me when they were demoing at Petsmart that they are very similar to other sighthounds, except that they can have a tendency to be DA, since they were bred to hunt wolves and are often still used for this purpose in Europe. This can make them very popular in lure coursing, though.

Never met one ( I don't think ) but I'm sure if it's like a greyhound it would be very sweet ! I'm a fan of a more " meatier " dog .

Lol, it's funny because since I like sighthounds quite a lot, the meatier, stockier dogs tend to look weird. Sighthounds are definitely a acquired taste for most.. but I like 'em.
They also come in a long coat variety, which was bred out a long time ago due to the Polish thinking they were inferior. However, as you can imagine it does pop up every now again, although the coat is definitely not like a long haired whippet.   This particular dog is actually available.. and I wants. but I can not has!
