I am having a long talk with myself right now about the direction i want my art to go. EIther i can keep scrambling after what everyone wants me to do, or i can get back the resolve i had two years ago and declare no commissions. IT is very hard to do.
HAts off to you for making a piece of yourself, (and if your like me, it is almost the most important part of all) for your son. To see himself through your eyes. WEll done and applause. Your painting is stunning!

IŽll send you a PM because it is a loooong answer. Dekka Well I took a lot of pics that day with my son and our two boys, from flying dogs to portrait photos so he was getting tired.

Your amazing I hope that one day I can become as good as you, I sometimes want to kick myself because I don't draw that often anymore only when someone wants a picture of their pet done which is not that often as only friends know that I'm good at art. I am busy working and doing course work that I don't get the energy or the want to do art anymore which I hate feeling like this because I love drawing and painting.

Absolutely beautiful !!! Yes, your son looks sad ....but more pensive ....like he doesn't want the moment to end . It will mean even more as time goes on .
