So, I painted Ella's nails with some OPI doggy nail polish the other night.
hehehehe, so now her nails are silver. D'oh. Anyway, if I want to remove it, what do I use? Do I use regular human nail polish remover, or do they make special doggy nail polish remover? Sorry if this is a silly question, this is basically the first time I was able to successfully paint my dog's nails, and I don't have a lot of experience on the subject. Thanks! |

But to remove it..does it some of with like water? Like when you are giving baths with the shampoo would it come off? |

I just use regular nail polish remover and then wash Bobsie's feet really good so she won't taste it when she licks.
![]() Oh, and do we get to see pictures of Miss Ella's manicure? *wink* |

I have seen this problem before. When I groomed, the only way we could get the stuff off is use the pads soaked in nail polish remover, they're individually wrapped like moist towelettes, and SCRUB. You'll go through a few pads. That stuff can be like cement.

I think the regular nail polish remover will work fine in removing your dog's nail polish. No need to buy the one that is made especially made for dog, which is a bit more expensive.
