If you feel immune from BSL - List of 75 banned or restricted breeds

I can't even begin to count the number of pro-BSL materials I've read and the draft legislation I've seen that was rife with misspellings and non-existent "breeds." Just because it doesn't exist doesn't mean there isn't some twit out there trying to ban it.

It's not like we're dealing with Stanford grads drafting local laws. Or even, at times, people with measurable IQs. Unfortunately, they ARE loud, and they know how to appeal to the cowardly streak in too many.

And so what if they're banning Uzbekistan Wire Coated Chihuahuas? Fighting with equally wrong materials doesn't make it right.

Calling them cowards for the way they wrongly approach the situation just means you're calling yourself one too for supporting an equally wrong response.

Didn't your mother ever tell you not to stoop to someone elses level? You sure are quick to fling the insults, both in PMs and in posts. Breaking down takes away from your case.

I was referring to the fact that they appeal to the cowardly streak in their audience - "Ooooooohhhh . . . big bad doggies will eat you and your children . . . " Not that they themselves are being cowards.

It's a list. It's an alert. It's not the be all and end all of rebuttals. It's a jumping off point.

Kela, I'm not going to insult you, you have the right to your own opinion, but BSL is very real for me and most dog owners. Let's just say you do your thing and I'll do mine. I wont let "this country" take away the last thing in this world that means something to me.
