Default Charlie the Camaflage expert (Unfortunately)

Ok well I just decided to tell you guys about how Charlie's camaflage skills are NOT always the best thing.

Oh and I wrote this kinda like a story so sorry if its a little too long for your taste. You can always skip this story and go look at the others!

Well, in the morning, I did the usual and fed Charlie and played with him a little and took him outside. I said bye to my parents and went to school.

Oh, it was the usual boring same old school day, but I came back with a good mood. I walked up the sunny driveway up to my house.

When I came back, my dad was washing dishes. I slammed my book bag on the ground and looked hopefully at the table for some snacks (I'm not fat or anything... ). But then my dad said, "I have bad news." My mind immediately went to Charlie and asked him, "What?"

In fact, it was about Charlie. My dad told me that earlier today, a tree fell down on the dog run and Charlie, terrified, ran away with his leash on. He had looked all over and asked many people, but no one has seen him. My heart was aching because this was the first time it happened. I was scared. I first went around the yard calling "Charlie!!!", but no dog came to me. I called my friend, and she said that he might be over to the place they were building a doctor's office just next door. I went over there as well, but Charlie was not there. My friend agreed to go around the neighborhood and look with me.

We walked around our neighborhood, and asking people if they had seen a dog that was medium sized and was black, brown and white but they all shook their heads. So pretty soon, I was beginning to feel sad and scared. We went through my backyard to our other friend's house, but she did not see him either. We asked another person one more time if they had seen a dog, but they shook their heads as well. We were about to give up and try to look tomorrow when I happened to look at the woods.

We hadn't seen Charlie before! He was hidden so well, and he was whimpering and trying to catch our attention, we ran over to him to find him all tangled up in the chain, he could barely move a muscle! And it made me sorry to think that he was in this position for over 5 hours, and it was NOT easy to get him untangled. Finally we got him untangled and brought him back to the house. My dad was very happy to see him back, and we told him where he was. He said that he heard some whimpering when he looked at the area himself, but he thought it was another dog.

I'm so glad you found Charlie. He's so sweet looking and must have been just as scared as you were.
