Um, yes they are sad. I am definitely using the word "sad" as a description. Um, Noludork go back and look, each dog has a deep...Um, sadness in it's eyes.

Um, what is even more sad... you must be having a very bad pms day that would cause you to read so deeply into mine and Bubbatd's postings with nothing more than the intention of starting trouble, that you missed the hurt and pain that shows in each and every animal in this thread. (so unlike you from what I have read of your posts). Midol and a glass of wine really do help with pms.

If my post bother some people, there is always the option of not viewing them.

Sweet72947, I apologize for what has happend to your thread. I also apologize If I said anything to offend you about your photos of the animals.. I am so thankful that there are lovely caring people like you in this world that take time to give the animals a chance for happines and better life.

For the love of ducks.. I was there at FOHA that day. I took at least one of the pictures. I should think I have an accurate grasp of the situation. Many of the dogs at FOHA aren't sad at all, they are just thrilled that people are there to play with them. Some of the dogs themselves are sad, loads of them are definitely stressed out/frightened/confused/etc, but my point is that a) the pictures aren't sad. They show HOPE. These dogs have a chance at a new LIFE thanks to FOHA. Point b) is that IMO it was a rude comment. And no, it wasn't said with the intention of starting trouble, I was a hell of a lot less snarky than I usually am. Downright polite if you know my usual when people are rude to my friends. Besides, I usually start trouble with trolls and not mods. The trolls are more fun.

I was expressing my utter disbelief and irritation at the rudeness, and clarifying that the situation for most of these guys is not - or hopefully will not be - sad. Eventually most, maybe all of them will have homes.

I find it rude to post stuff like this in a thread with pictures, honestly. I'm sure Cristy is very appreciative of how much people hate her cute pictures of animals who have been saved from death or worse.

Well, I *hate* pictures like that, too- because they make we want to take all the dogs in! That doesn't mean that I really, literally hate them.

I am sorry, but it is sad that this thread is taking this turn. I feel for dogs who have lost their home or who have never been treated right. And that thought is saddening! Some of the dogs have a sad look in their eyes! That does not mean that they are in a bad situation or that the volunteers at the shelter are not taking excellent care of them!

I do not know where you see all the obvious rudeness plastered over our posts. But yeah, we're all out to gang on Cristy
