These were taken around 7.30-8.00pm it wasnt dark, it was light outside, and the sun was just beginning to set but it wasnt dusk.. *MORE COMING*

How the hell you managed to get such a CLEAR, SHARP pic of chloe in that last one, with your ISO up to 1600, is BEYOND me
![]() It looks to me like what is going to help your pics come in correctly exposed, is to get a lens with a wider aperture (lower fstop number, like f2.8), or pray for better light, or an off camera flash. Other than as far as how they look, under-exposure is the only thing I see that could be changed. I'd go a little higher on your shutter speed for action shots, but you're going to lose more light/exposure if you do that. Your pics are great, what is going on is a matter of something you really cannot control, except to hope for better lighting or get a lens with a wider aperture.

I'm no big help--I am still learning too! But I have to say that pic. of Chloe drinking...her tongue moves in so many different ways---rrrrrroflmao!! and that last pic of Chloe is great!
