Nikon D40 settings...
Well, my camera is finally on the way, so I'm wondering... for regular inside pictures, any particular setting I should pick? or do I just press the 'picture' button?
 I'm way too exhausted to have time to read the manual, so if anyone could give me the main lines, it would be really appreciated.

There should be an "auto" setting on the wheel...this is what I used at first and used it well for quite a long time. Then as I started to get more comfortable and wanting to play with settings, then I pulled out the manual and started reading up

I use portrait inside...as opposed to auto. Right now I am using Aperture priority a TON (that's the A)
