People abandoning animals when they move is nothing new. FOHA had a rottweiler that was left tied in the back yard when the owners moved. We also had a pit bull who was left inside the house when the owners moved. (Both great dogs, been adopted a while ago). People abandon them at the shelter when they move too. Happens all the time. People shouldn't buy houses when they can't afford them, and people shouldn't have pets when they aren't going to keep them.

I cannot believe they have to keep them their for 18 days!
That is a stupid law, these poeople don't even own the property anymore but the realtors have to keep them on the property/backyard instead of letting a rescue/humaine society keep them. So stupid, they shold be considered abandoned after 7 days max
