Default Had A Scare Today

Ok This morning I was doing the feeding and Pakak once again tipped both of his bowls over so i had to refill his his water dish and put his food back into his bowl (im starting to get a hold of this routine ). I then went out to the barn to feed there and when I came back Pakak wasent in the kitchen anymore and Babe was eating the rest of his bowl of food . I started calling Pakak and whistling and I did'n see him any where i checked all the rooms and under the beds and still no Pakak! By now I was freaking out and was ready to cry thinking I've only had him three days and now he's lost!!! I was thinking to myself that he could have slipped out of the house when i went out to the barn and now he's in the woods and easy prey. Then I noticed Zeus was barking like mad in the basement I had checked down there but I figured I would at least go and get Zeus. When I got down there Zeus was barking like crazy into the space between the wall and the meat freezer. I moved him aside and there was Pakak covered in spider webs and dirt sniffing with his head up in the air (probley enjoying the musty smell lol). Boy did i ever panick though I think im now even more protective then before of him lol.

Zeus saves the day - or at least your sanity! Hope Zeus got a big hug

You really do need one of those puppy-packs for Pakak, lol!

That so reminds me of a Christmas morning a long time ago when I got up early to hear something in the wall next to the fireplace. We had a kitten that had somehow gotten himself up into the attic and fallen down the firewall. My husband first tried lowering a broom, then a rope, and when that didn't work, he tied the rope around a shoebox and lowered that down. The kitten climbed in the box and we resumed with Christmas morning....those babies are something else!! Maybe you need a babygate or two.

Glad Pakak was found! Smkie, I know about cats; they can give you the scare of your life. We couldn't find one of ours and searched for what seemed like an eternity. We finally found him inside the box spring of the mattress. He tore a hole in the bottom with his nails and climbed in. Luckily, while searching with a flashlight, I noticed a bump in the bottom of the box spring. I was so relieved.
