Default Joint Supplements

What do you give your dogs?

I've been thinking about switching Kiba to a different level of GlycoFlex (she's currently taking the II) or to one of Dr. F&S other Joint Care formulas. With possibly adding another dog onto it, one of the F&S ones would be cheaper in the long run.

Thoughts?

I use and recommend Dasuquin, all three dogs are on it.

Logan gets Cosequin because it's free, but I'll soon be switching to Dasuqin...because it's free.

Gavroche gets Osteo Bi-Flex because it's cheap and seems to work really well.

Does it honestly really matter what brand one goes with? Or should I be looking for certain ingredients?

When it comes to myself, my animals, and my family I look solely at two things: ingredients and tolerance. Brand means nothing to me and I often opt for generic to save $.

I use those expensive liver soft chews from vetri-science. Why? Bc Muffin likes to eat them. To him, it's treat time not med time. So it has great tolerance and the ingredients I want... I've tried others including cheaper soft chews... It wasn't as positive of an expierence for him, since I do this every day... I just buy him what he likes. If he took pills better, I'd buy the cheaper pills.
