Us
Well we have been around since 1998 off and on but have always been Lilac Hill American Pit Bull Terriers and before that Lilac Hill Farm Appaloosas and Paints. The original gang was Lilac Hill's Cuddlebuns (Cuddles, my Colby dog), CH PR Heron Fall's Pocket Change (Bug), UWP CH PR RoKi's High Octane of LilacHill (Tesla). All 3 are gone now and have been since 2008-2010.
We still have UWPCH CH PR Arkay's Pink Cadillac AOM (Dill Pickles)  Her nephew UWP CH PR Arkay's Rawhide Rowdy Yates (Rowdy) And her babies, all my bred by's who are 15 months in these pics PR Lilac Hill's Big Iron (Dozer)   PR Lilac Hill's Hello Darlin' (Darla, Beans, BeanieBaby) Darla was freezing and not amused during this photo shoot FYI.  PR Lilac Hill's A White Sport Coat (Skidder, Skidz)   PR Lilac Hill's Ring of Fire (Ford) he lives with my daughter and his sibling Tyrion, and the Ibizan   PR Lilac Hill's I Walk The Line   You ought to feel privledged I updated my whole site to link the latest outdated puppy pics here. The story of a friend She arrived with my mother in the car She came with a collar and a leash But something was still missing Happiness Even at my age though I hardly remember I was only one or two But I could still tell she needed a friend In particular this dog She wasn't mean but her tail never wagged She never had the gleam of hope in her eyes Her ears were cropped yet I'm sure they would be down I began to walk around some what follow her She didn't seem to mind She knew I meant no harm I fed her and eventually I didn't follow her She followed me On the couch we slept And sometimes on the floor We looked as if we knew each other since birth And surprising enough we didn't Our age was the same Our personalities alike She grew older and older Until I was twelve and she was thirteen There were times we were the same age I just hoped she would make it til I turned thirteen I came home from school My mother told me we had to take my special friend to the vet We went home and I saw her hurt and defeated in a pen I grabbed my phone and took a picture I knew it would be the last I would ever take of her I opened the pen and she didn't do anything So instead of her coming out I went in and hugged her neck My parents took the pen down She began to lumber about. We grabbed a blanket and put her in the car I kept telling myself it was the right thing to do to Bug But I never feel sadness until we really enter the vet's room I was just old enough to stay with Bug But of course I still cried And while I hugged her neck It seemed she was prepared for death Her eyes became blank and she went limp There was one thing I knew I could never forgive I could forgive myself Not my parents, I could forgive them Not Bug, I could especially forgive her But the thing I can never forgive us cancer Cancer will take everything one knows And the hardest part is the last
