How many of you have your girls whelp inside and how many outside? i dont know if anyone can add a poll to this

Mine will inside once shes of age and Shown,tested and titled.My boss does inside too.

Yes I need mine close i couldnt cope if they were out side lol

Yes I will be close all the time.The whelping box will be in the bathroom or maybe kitchen.Here its too cold in Winter and too hot in Summer for outside litters.Some do use outdoor heated kennels but I like them to be born and raised with human noise and daily activities.

you need to chose a low trafic area, you must have a big bathroom lol lucky you

Our bathroom is huge.Our Kitchen is good size too.Plus both floors are Linoleum so easy to clean lol.I thought of using our bedroom but Norm would accidentally step into the box at night.My boss uses the dining room.I really like how its set up but for now we have a small house and have to make due with it.

Depends on the breed. Many LGDs whelp litters outside in the barn. Some hard core stockmen believe that that is the only way for them to be good guard dogs (not that I agree).

All my dogs whelp in the home. I personally could not stand the idea of their being trouble and me not knowing and being ready to assist.

well i have herd of people who let their dog whelp out, but I do mean in a kennel not just on the ground!
