Barn Hunts

Just found out about this new sport and there's a "fun test" near me in October! I think Snipe, and maybe all 4 dogs, will be trying it out. I especially love that in heat females are allowed as long as they wear pants.

Anyone else here who has tried it?

you're confusing them w/ the sweet colorful little guys people keep as pets. wild rats foul feed, spread disease and kill ckicks & rabbits

Sounds like fun! I wish those had been around for my old terrier mix, Patch. She was an awesome ratter and mouser but too big to fit in earth dog tunnels.

ive tried it with both mine a few weeks ago, along with a bush hunt and lure coursing lol. Blaze actually did better then solo at sniffing out the ratties. they were not harmed, kept in small cages surrounded by larger cages. lots of fun. it was a JRT event any one could join
