I know this might sound stranges. but i was thinking instead of the traditional bows and ribbons i like to try and make decrotive hair extentions. Question dose any one know where I could look up on how to make them?

They have 'feather' hair extensions for dogs now, not sure how to make them though.

LOL - no way! Those feather hair extensions were sooo popular for all of, like, 6 months. My mom's salon sold them like crazy. Now nobody wants them.

Bailey needs hair extensions. Blonde ones.
I'm going to disguise him as a golden and parade him around town.

Do you know anyone who shows Poodles in conformation? Apparently, they used clipped hair to make extensions. You might get some help there.

No idea sorry.. not my cup of tea.
I certainly don't think show dogs should use them. Not sure why anybody else would even WANT them.. |

I get asked if the Paps are wearing extensions ALL THE TIME! I was like WTF? Who would put extensions on dogs. Well, I guess there are people who do???

Lol. Oh goodness!.............okay now that I’ve stopped laughing...No, wait not done laughing yet...................okay.
I live in DC and actually I can see some of the girls doing that here. Like the ones that wear extensions and actually, I can't lie, I've worn them before myself and actually might have put these on my dog too just for fun, but she hates any sort of clothes anyway. Come to think of it, I don't think the hair thing would last long because on a dog, it's not like a decoration, it's like hair. I forgot I did try it once but not for decoration like you're saying. Like I remember, my ex and I used to have my little girl and a tan Italian greyhound and the greyhound had this really beautiful little face and delicate features. My ex bought the greyhound, so he got him when we split up. Anyway, I was wearing weaves then and one of the funniest things to do was put some tracks of hair on him. He looked so ridiculously gorgeous. Like a model or something, but he was a dog. It was so, so funny. But it really doesn't look like decoration. If pageant decor is what you're going for, I'd definitely stick with bows, maybe a little durable sparkly dog jewelry, belts etc. Hair just looks like hair.
