Yay for housebreaking!

Ok, so Didgie is following in Traveler's footsteps of being the easiest dog ever to housebreak. BUT she's taken it one step farther and added to it having the more obvious "I want to go out" signal ontop of it. Travler would just bark, which for him wasn't the best signal

Well this morning Didgie was playing and then got up, went to the front door and looked out it, turned around, sat down and stared at me. I got up, took her out and she pooped right away. Yay!! Yes, I am this excited for a puppy poop!

Still having trouble making family understand either she stays in the crate while I'm at work or you are watching her 100% because asking to go out does nothing if she's in the other room

Good girl Didgie!

How old is she? Stormy will be 6 months tomorrow. I swear, the next time I get a puppy, I am not leaving the house for one single second until they are a year old. They grow SO fast.

They really do grow fast, faster if you're Didgie and a little fatty Puppies are so much fun but at the same point I really like when they get to the age they can really start doing stuff.

You should post some more pictures of Stormy!

House training got a lot easier when I realized that whenever Squash was acting like a total D-Bag, he probably had to poop. :/

Um wait. They are 10 weeks already?! wtf, I'm still saying she's 8 weeks! Time needs to stop now.

So jealous of Didgie's potty signal! Zinga hasn't had any accidents but we are still working on a signal. She did go over to the door yesterday so maybe that's what she was telling me? I let her out right away anyways and she did potty.... Cross fingers!

Yay for easy housebreaking!

Juno required like no effort to housebreak, and it was soooo nice... especially because Lucy was such a PITA, and well, to this day she still requires... help. Lol. It's so nice to get that out of the way too because I felt like it was much easier to enjoy them in the house, if I wasn't stressing out about them having an accident.

I'm so terrible at housebreaking. >.< Mu's signal (because we had a doggy door when we got her) is to sit across the room and stare at me....which she does ALL THE TIME ANYWAY. Lol.

I'm very jealous of your almost (don't want to jinx you ) housebroken puppy.

I love easy house breakers. The Dobermans were not very easy, but Dance was super quick. My only problem is that none of my dogs give a signal. Well, unless they really need to go out like right this very second, they will sprint to the door. But otherwise they just wait for whenever I feel like letting them out.

And hopefully your family will listen to your requests. It's so frustrating when other people don't do things with them as you do.

Stormy is the first dog I have ever had, where someone else was partially responsible for the house breaking. This time, my husband was retired.

I was doing a big tile job for my parents, so I was gone for several hours during the day. I was on my husband constantly, to make sure Stormy didn't make any mistakes. He pulled it off without any problems.

I, on the other hand made a fatal error.

I said, Mommy has to pee pee.

Apparently, that sounds an awful lot like Pee Pee for Mommy...to a 10 week old puppy.
